โซลูชันที่ดีที่สุดคือโซลูชันที่ต้องง่ายที่สุด

คณะกรรมการผู้ตัดสินรางวัลได้อธิบายถึงเหตุผลของรางวัลที่ VEGA ได้รับว่า นวัตกรรมเซนเซอร์ทั้งสามรุ่นนี้แสดงถึงองค์ประกอบที่ลงตัวระหว่างความแม่นยำและความเรียบง่าย โดยเหล่าคณะกรรมการประทับใจในการออกแบบที่ละเอียดลออ รวมถึงรูปแบบการนำไปใช้งานที่คิดมาอย่างดี เพราะทั้งสองสิ่งนี้จะสามารถการันตีขั้นตอนการผลิตที่น่าเชื่อถือและมั่นใจได้

จากรางวัลที่เพิ่งได้รับมานี้ เซนเซอร์ของ VEGA จึงได้รับเลือกให้ถูกจัดแสดงในงานนิทรรศการ “Design on Stage” ที่พิพิธภัณฑ์ Red Dot Design Museum ในเมืองเอสเซน ประเทศเยอรมนี นับเป็นโอกาสอันดีที่คุณจะได้สัมผัสกับความเรียบง่ายที่แฝงด้วยความสวยงามของอุปกรณ์เซนเซอร์จาก VEGA ด้วยตาของคุณเอง

VEGA launches three new product series

VEGA, a world leader in sensors for measuring level, pressure as well as devices and software, has unveiled three new award-winning product series – VEGAPLUS, VAGABAR and VEGAPOINT.

RADAR IS THE BETTER ULTRASONIC

VEGA is expanding its portfolio of radar sensors with a new compact instrument series, VEGAPLUS. The series is even suitable for more price-sensitive applications, such as those found in the water and wastewater industry. The new VEGAPULS sensors can be used in applications with either liquids or bulk solids. The sensors are also available as a compact version with cable connection compartment or with fixed cable connection. The radar sensors deliver high accuracy uninfluenced by ambient conditions such as temperature fluctuations or heavy soiling, which quickly bring conventional ultrasonic sensors to their limits. The series is complemented by the optional VEGAMET controllers with a large graphic display.

WE BRING COLOUR INTO VIEW

With the new VEGABAR pressure sensors and VEGAPOINT level switches, VEGA has become a full-range supplier for level and pressure in food and pharmaceutical processes. The compact instrument series are perfectly tailored to standard applications that require high quality and strict hygiene. The standardized hygienic adapter system provides flexibility and keeps expenses and spare parts inventories at a reasonable level. An eye-catching, 360° switching status display ensures safety and process reliability. The colour of the illuminated ring can be freely selected from a pallet of 256 colours and is easy to see even in daylight. The instruments can be operated wirelessly via smartphone or tablet and the integrated digital IO-Link interface is a standard feature.

The art of designing a good level or pressure measuring instrument lies in recognising the factors that advance their application. That’s why VEGA is always questioning every component anew, from the materials to the user interface.

Triple wins on the global stage

The components that make the grade have what it takes: They are then truly self-explanatory, functionality and durability. For this reason, the German-based company has received the Red Dot Design Award 2021 for three new compact sensors; the VEGAPULS, VEGABAR and VEGAPOINT series.

The best solution is the simplest one possible

“VEGA is simple,” explained Managing Director Rainer Waltersbacher. “We are known for this core idea, and we’ve brought it to perfection in our product design.” VEGA’s approach is based on decades of experience and tons of research to ultimately ensures that a new product will be able to perform as required. The central aim, said Waltersbacher, is “to make the best solution as simple as possible for the users.”

On display at the design exhibition

Explaining their reasoning for the award, the jury emphasised the unique combination of precision and simplicity in the sensors. They were especially impressed by the “sophisticated design” and “well thought-out handling,” because only these features can ensure “absolute process reliability.”
