The concept of innovative packaging development was created to reduce environmental impact and promote the circulation system. Bio 24 is a single-use food packaging that has been invented to solve food packaging waste problems systematically and comprehensively through a three-step process: food support, degradation, and value-added. According to the concept of sustainable food packaging, this packaging can respond to the requirements of consumers, businesses, and the environment all at the same time.

 

กระบวนการทำงานของ Bio 24 แบ่งเป็น 3 ขั้นตอน ดังต่อไปนี้

1 บรรจุภัณฑ์รองรับอาหาร หรือ NEUTRIA: เป็นพอลิเอสเทอร์ที่ออกฤทธิ์ทางชีวภาพ ซึ่งได้มาจากพืช จึงสามารถย่อยสลายได้อย่างรวดเร็วในถังหมัก มีความแข็งแรง ทนทาน และสามารถใช้งานได้จริงสำหรับอาหาร และเครื่องดื่มทั้งร้อน และเย็นได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ตลอดจนเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม

The three steps that explain how Bio 24 works

STEP 1: Food Packaging Material (NEUTRIA)

NEUTRIA is a bioactive polyester derived from plant-based sources. It breaks down rapidly upon deactivation in the Bio24 digestor. This package is sturdy, durable, and suitable for both hot and cold food or drinks, as well as being environmentally friendly.

STEP 2 Bio24 Digestion

The Bio 24 digestor employs a catalytic degradation process that significantly reduces the composting time of the food packaging material while avoiding the use of chemicals. By utilizing the action of the natural enzyme and plant-based material, the degradation time is reduced to just 24 hours.

STEP 3 Compost Enrichment

After 24 hours in the digestor, food packaging and food waste turn into nutrient-enriched, organic compost ready to be packed and sent to farms.
